What is European ultralight aircraft (UL)?
A: UL is a very light aircraft with max to occupants and must comply :
- max weight with to occupants and fuel 450 kg  exept in Germany and Finland it is 472,5 kg with rescue system. Amphibian air crafts max weight is 50 kg higher.
-max stall speed is 65 km/h or 35 knop.

 What is UL-B?
A: UL-B is aerodynamically controlled aircraft usually with fixed wings and rudder.

What is UL-A?
A: a weight shift controlled aircraft such as trike and paraglider.

 What is microlight Aircraft?
A: microlight aircraft (ML) is practically synonymous to ultralight aircraft (UL).

 What is an experimental aircraft?
A: an aircraft that is build by the owner 51% usually from kit.

Are ulralight aircrafts more dangerous to fly than regular sport aircrafts?
A: ULs are basically safer because of the low stall speed and many UL-As have resque parachute that is required f.ex. in Germany. The required low weight of UL-As can cause safety problems for the fastest planes.

What are the advantages of UL-B contra regular sport air craft?
A: The price of the planes are much lower. You can maintain the plane yourself. The fuel cost is much lower. Ultralight are environmental friendly.

Is it expensive to get UL pilot license?
A: To obtain UL pilot license cost 2500-4000 Euro.

What is American Ultralight aircraft?
A:a hang glider must weigh less than 155 pounds; while a powered vehicle must weigh less than 254 pounds; is limited to 5 U.S. gallons of fuel; maximum speed of 55 knots; max stall speed 24 knots. limited to a single occupant.

What is American LSA?
LSA means   Light Sport Aircraft determined by USA:s
Federal Aviation Administration

What requirements an aircraft needs to meet in order to be classified as LSA ?
A: A maximum of two occupants,
a maximum take off weight of 1,320 pounds (seaplanes 1,430 lbs);
a 45-knot stall speed;
a 120-knot maximum operating speed;
a single, non-turbine engine;
fixed landing gear (though amphibious float planes can have "repositionable" gear).

Which type aircrafts are included in the LSA category?
A: airplanes, trikes, powered parachutes, gliders, gyroplanes, and lighter-than-air (balloons and airships)

 What are the advantages of LSA in comparison to traditional aircrafts?
A: basically the cost of flying and maintaining the aircraft is much lower and to obtain LSA pilot licence is much easier.
